Fatimah Hishmeh is a master’s level intern in the Mental Health Psychology program at Governors State University. Mrs. Hishmeh approaches counseling with empathy, understanding and genuineness. She believes authenticity and trust are vital components in the counseling process and believes change happens in the context of relationships.
Mrs. Hishmeh has over 10 years of experience in working with children and families. Mrs. Hishmeh’s clinical training has included working with individuals experiencing trauma, addiction, life-transitions, grief and adjustment. She feels passionate about seeing individuals in a holistic perspective and empowering them to change their lives. It is her goal to see clients living out a balanced and healthy life.
She is available on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
