Karla has worked in health care for over 20 years. Spanning between a variety of departments that were non-clinical in nature. Karla considers the profession of helping other to be her true calling. Karla received her BA in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, California. She is currently a graduate student at Adler University pursuing a master’s in clinical counseling and certification in substance abuse counseling. Some counseling theories that she considers to be helpful are cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian and behaviorism. A staple of Karla’s counseling is broaching with clients from a variety of populations.
She is open to working with a broad array of concerns. Karla is available on evenings and Saturdays. Karla is available for telehealth and in person.
