Sabotage: I’ve been so good all do so I deserve to have some extra dessert now.
Response: No, I don’t! I deserve to stick to my plan and feel good about myself and feel in control and make progress towards my goals.
Sabotage! Amazing how we do things to trip ourselves up. In this case, we are talking about self-sabotage. Why would someone try to undo the hard work? Well, I have found that we are so used to negatively talking to ourselves that we believe the nonsense. We are left with a belief that we do not deserve to be healthy. We feel that if we work on getting healthy that we are some how being selfish. Honestly, that is so untrue.
If we do not care for ourselves then we can not care for others, enjoy life, and do the things we enjoy. So every time you say no to those things not on your plan you are really saying yes to a better life.
